Kim Raymond is a tried and true maven of the HIM staffing community with over 13 years of experience supporting a vast array of health systems and environments. She loves to reminisce about the days when CDI equated to a little reimbursement on those 4 DRG’s, the CCS was an experience test, and all coders worked onsite. Kim found her love for sales at a young age as the local Queen of girl scout cookies who sold 1000+ boxes a year.

Kim is not your typical smooth talking, quick-witted, humorous sales person (well…she is that too), but she is also an HIM Operations Guru with an abnormal obsession for excel spreadsheets. She has in-depth knowledge of the flow of the medical record, coding guidelines, and compliance surrounding documentation integrity and security. Kim has attended every training provided to her coders in every EHR system and Encoder available. She is well versed in a variety of on-boarding and day-to-day operations best practices to align with her client’s specific needs for training, education, audits, reporting, scheduling, remote set up and IT trouble shooting.

After managing all sales activity for her first company generating a 500% revenue increase in less than three years, Kim had no intentions of slowing down. She joined a small business where she was the top performing sales professional every year while maintaining operations for 30+ contractors at all times. She generated a minimum of 20% sales growth year over year for 9 straight years which led to the company being sold. Kim brought her vast experience and knowledge to Team Norwood in 2018 where she is setting pace to undoubtedly exceed all of her previous accomplishments.
